Mi’Kmasq families used a code of ethics while rearing children.  These ethics were not directly taught to children just utilized as everyday common sense practices.

The MiKmaq are the first scientists of the North American eastern seaboard.  They were prolific inventors of items that were life necessities.  They invented games like hockey, wigwams as shelters, weapons and tools, etc.
